'The good news is that the rooms and hallways were very clean. And the a/c worked. Very walkable area, close to subway stations and old town.
The bad news is that the shower temperature could not be moderated and was scalding hot. The window in the bathroom leaked during a rainstorm. The room is teeny tiny but at least had windows. 'We loved our stay here, so much so that I extended my trip, and will be back when in Montreal next. Beautiful jacuzzi on the terrace, a steam room, and a gym. Clean, spacious apartment with friendly and attentive staff. We stayed in the superior apartment, used all the kitchen and amenities, and were very impressed with the space. The hotel is super central to old montreal and walking distance to plenty of restaurants and activities. Highly recommend to anyone considering.'

From the exterior pictures, you would think the hotel occupies that building on the corner of Notre Dame East. Wrong: the hotel rooms are in the basement which looks to still be under construction (see photos). It is not on one level, as they advertise and I don't know how the heck it is accessible for those who have been conned into thinking it is.

'The support personnel was excellent, who did all they could and more to help us. But, two flaws:
1. No cable TV and that wasn’t mentioned when we reserved. That was particularly important while the World Soccer tournament was being held. A special subscription for that event would have been greatly appreciated and wouldn’t have cost much.
2. The freezer door in Loft 33 kept being frozen locked, and we had to ask daily to have it unlocked.'

'We got room 105 that was warned to be noisy at night. To be honest, it wasn’t that loud and the air conditioning noise drowned it out, so sleeping through the night wasn’t a problem at all. Room also provided umbrellas which was a life saver cus it was pouring one of the days. Staff was also friendly and helpful on where to store our luggage for after check in'

'I will start with starting this was a very pricey stay but the place was excellent! The description was accurate and the unit was very clean. We appreciated the laundry for our longer stay. If anything could change it would be that we wished it had a dish cloth & soap so we could hand wash a few quick dishes. I will also say that the location was amazing for walking old Montreal. Overall a great place to stay.'
