'The hostel seemed newly refurbished as it all looked really crisp and clean. It is located about 10 minutes from a train station and about 50 meters away from a shopping street. Close by, semi-hidden, there are two local bars (Izakaya) filled with locals who welcome foreigners. One is named Minato Pizza (delicious pizza's and food in general) and standing bar Kimura. The standing bar is run by a family. We have spend quite a few evenings here making fun and friends with the locals.'

'The place was nice and new. Fairly small but enough room for 6 of us to sleep comfortably. Lots of stairs and the 2nd and 3rd floors have the bedrooms. Nice sitting area on balcony (4th floor). Fairly conveniently located, within 10 minutes of various subway lines. 2 minutes to 7-11. '

'Clean, good size larger than average, washer was very small and dryer didn't work but location convenient to small train station. Lots of food options around. Somewhat aggressive club promoters nearby but mostly felt safe.'
