'Everything was amazing! First of all the design of every detail from the entrance, to the lobby, the rooms and the roof garden was beautiful. The staff was so helpful and endearing, as well as very adept with English. The location was ideal. The complementary laundry facility was a real bonus. The chef was also great! This was truly our home in Kyoto, and always a pleasure to return to after a busy day in town!'

'This boutique hotel had exceptional service, the team was lovely and the complimentary mini-bar and snacks was definitely a nice touch. The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. The little piece of Nintendo history also made the stay even more special. It was also nice to be in a quiet neighborhood but still be close to the city and busy areas. The library and open bar/self-service bar was also great. It was like coming home every night and everyone felt at ease and comfortable....

'The Abita is a boutique type hotel in a central but relatively quiet location in Kyoto. The room amenities and fittings were top rated with nice artwork touches. The staff and systems showed good management and effort to assist the guests stay. 'Amazing stay for our first visit to Kyoto. The staff at this hotel cannot be more accommodating and helpful. From the minute we walked through their doors, they made sure we had everything we need. They even helped carried our luggages to our room. I cannot say enough for the traditional Kaiseki breakfast. The meals each day were delicious and prepared with care. The whole staff treated us like family. I will definitely be back again.'
