'I did not like the fact that we were limited to 1/2 of glass inexpensive champagne when we arrived, considering the price of the room. Poor hospitality.'

'This was a very cute, quaint inn and we would definitely book again. A bit disappointed that the restaurant doesn’t run regularly, the outside fire pit wasn’t going, and the signal was very bad when we went to watch TV at night. However, the clawfoot tub was very nice and the place was only 15 minutes from Skaneateles, which is why we were there.'

'We didn't even get to the front door of the"lobby" and were leary. Gave it a shot anyway. The carpeted stairs going to the second floor were stained and smelled like urine. We went inside the room and the bedding had cigarette burns in it. There was hair in the sink and a dead cockroach stuck to the wall. We immediately turned around and left. Do not book here, ever! 1 month later and we are still grossing out from just walking in the front door. Seriously, run far away from this place!'

'Clean rooms, facility and grounds. Staff was very polite and quick to help and resolve any inconvenience I had. The only downside was that the attached restaurant was permanently closed. Over all I enjoyed the experience and would stay again.'

'It is an old motel that has had money put into it but it did not match the ratings shown on the Expedia site. It is located all by itself but it is only about 20 minutes from Skaneatles lake.'
