'The hotel charges five-star prices for what is, at best, a two-star experience. We paid nearly $900 for a two-night stay, and it was nowhere near worth the cost. While the waterfront location was beautiful, the property itself was so poorly maintained that it was impossible to enjoy the grounds. 'It's unfortunate this hotel isn't really up to standards for the price they want. Cheap soaps, no products, dirty floor (in my room), rusty toilet paper holder. I dont think the stairs ha e been vacuumed in quite some time. There was a phone in the room that didn't work to call the front desk. It's a bit more run down than advertised, to say the least. And, the restaurant was closed for "rennovations" for quite some time. That should've been explained in advance. A big disappointment. ...

Bedding looked like it might not have been changed, after last room rental. There were several hairs in the bedding when pulling back sheets. Luckily, there was a second bed that seemed better. Add to that, the towels were clearly years old. One had a hole and loose threads hanging off of it. Overall, even for a budget motel, very underwhelming....

'Rating: 2.5–3 stars This property sits in an absolutely beautiful location with stunning views of the lake and the hills to the west. The sunsets are truly incredible, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The front yard has a lot of charm and potential, though the grass was noticeably overgrown during my stay. The experience itself was unusual. I was greeted briefly by someone who handed me the key, but after that I didn’t see a single staff member, and there’s no real reception...

'The restoration of the Inn and the furnishings have been done well. It is very quiet and set back from the street. What is odd is that there was no staff at all onsite and evidence that no one had been there to pick up dirty dishes or restock snacks. We also texted the number we were given about an issue and got no reply.'
