'Staying at Wakka is a complete delight! The infrastructure is buikt to be part of the natural environment. The staff are a delight. The bikes for rental are top quality. The half board meal is full of varieties and locally sourced ingredients. My biggest concern was the shared shower facility, but Wakka kept everything clean and spotless. It's simply a delightful place to stay in and rejuvenate. In fact, our family is planning another glamping stay with them again. '

'The guy that looked after us, Satoshi, was really nice and very accommodating- he didn't speak english and we didnt speak Japanese but we got by. It was end of season and very quiet feeling like we had the place to ourselves. It was clean and immaculate. The breakfast was beautifully presented and ample. He met uas at the station and dropped us off as well as taking us elsewhere as and when needed. A really good experience and we would return.'

'Our stay at Hoshinoya fell short of expectations. Uncomfortable beds, stuffy rooms, and inadequate lighting marred the experience. Mediocre food and unresponsive massage therapy added to the disappointment. The hotel grounds were confusingly laid out, and the lack of beach loungers and presence of washed-up plastic bottles detracted from the beach experience. 'The hotel is situated in Habarana which is near to all the cultural locations. The lodges are rather dark and midscale, not what you expect from a 4+ star rated hotel. The staf is friendly but not that fast in the restaurant. Not too many alternatives nearby. '

'Lovely old bungalow. The butler service we had was exceptional. It’s cold at night so fires in rooms & hot water bottles in bed at night. Food really good. They don’t have a drink license so happy to serve your own. I just recommend you keep your gin in your room rather in their fridge. '

'Mooie, rustige locatie in de jungle met vriendelijk personeel. Erg mooie kamer met een buiten badkamer. Je bent wel gebonden om bij de accommodatie te blijven omdat je niet bijvoorbeeld lopend naar een dropje kan. Het eten is gelukkig lekker dus dan is het niet erg om op locatie te blijven. Gratis shuttle naar het orang utan rehabilitation centre, sunbears en rainforest discovery centre.'

'Prachtig authentiek hotel in het centrum. De schoonmaak kan beter. Dit gebeurt niet automatisch. Je moet een bordje aan de deur hangen. Er is geen koelkastje om je drankje koel te houden. '
