'Leuke B&B op loopafstand van Scarborough centrum. Zeer aardige gastvrouw, parkeren kan op eigen terrein of gratis voor de deur (gastvrouw gaf me een parkeervergunning). Als de kamer nou ook nog een bad had gehad, was het 7x een 5 beoordeling geweest.'

'We had a lovely stay with our granddaughters. Cowslip cottage was ideal for us. The girls loved having their private bathroom. Everything was spotless, beds comfy in fact couldn't have asked for more. The girls loved being with the animals and in the play area - we had to drag them off to go into Scarborough! So peaceful if all you need is a rest.'

'The Blacksmith Arms Inn is a beautiful estate with so much history and character. The owners and staff were all very friendly ready to share stories from long ago including hosting a luncheon for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip just 10 years ago. Fascinating conversations! The only con is exiting the grounds. The building is located on a curve and the street is boarded by tall shrubs. During the day it can be very dangerous exiting the parking lot. At night at least you on coming headlights....

'It was a convenient location. It was good to be able to leave the car outside the guest house, and for it to included in the price. My husband and I enjoyed the views from the bedroom window overlooking the bay. However the bedroom was smaller than we expected. The staff and customers were friendly. We expected our 'own' bathroom to be in our bedroom, as opposed to being on the landing next to our bedroom. '
