'Location was awesome, far enough way from all the noise, super quiet and very relaxing. However I don't understand the theory behind the ( No Children ) policy but yes to dogs ??? the neighbor had not 1 but 2 dogs that were left in the room alone and so they must have crapped on the floor because the smell was awful and stayed that way until the couple next retuned and cleaned the mess, The dogs barked all day while the owners were away. 'The hotel was ok, the staff was friendly, but the town of Johnson City was not welcoming to visitors. We went to a local bar in town and they would not serve us. All of the residential streets were blocked with residents only signs. I will not be returning to Johnson City EVER. If i were you, find somewhere else to go.'

'I booked our stay at Monarc Ranch for the April 8 eclipse, when we had a problem with our previous booking. We stayed for 2 nights for a family of 4 (including our 5 and 3 year old boys). Despite the cloudy weather affecting our eclipse viewing, everything about the lodging was outstanding. 'The house was secluded enough to be relaxing and peaceful but close to Fredericksburg’s main attractions. It could have used a bit more tidying before our arrival. There was food from the previous tenant left in the fridge and dead crickets in one of the rooms along with a dead scorpion behind the door. The rest of the house was quaint and what would be expected of an old ‘farmhouse’.'

'We have so much problem with a code that was send and didn't work. Luckily we came before 6 Pm and employee from the winery , gave us their code, so we could enter. Tried to call property manager, but nobody picked up the phone. This is not acceptable, for the cost per night.'

'We loved everything about the stay. The treetop cabin was very clean and cozy. The hike down to the spring was fun and rough, we absolutely enjoyed exploring the area. I would recommend updated pictures since they don't capture how cool that cabin is. We would absolutely go again.'
