'Perfect Location, just minutes walk to the beach and nice play park for the kids. Close to plenty of places to eat. Beach is beautiful. Views from the house is stunning. The cooker, decking and downstairs ensuite shower need some tlc but that didn’t effect usage or us having a fantastic time. Will definitely be coming back!'

'stayed for a week with our 3 daughters (14, 11 & 9) in May. good space and facilities on the property, lovely garden Area forout door dining. 10 minute walk to Trevone beach and the hosts let us use their pull along trolley and body boards which the kids loved. great hosts just over the road.'

'Cottage has everything you need, however I wouldn't let my dogs or children swim in the lake as it looked disgusting, the promised dog shower has been removed so we couldn't shower our dogs. The cottage is in the middle of a working farm & although we didn't mind listening to the tractors & farm animals it was spoilt a little when one of the dogs was howling next door. 'There was black mould in bedroom 3 and in the bathroom. This meant we had to move the bed as black mould is dangerous. The fridge was off when we arrived and took a long time to chill. There were no teaspoons. No hand towels anywhere and the bed springs had gone in 2 beds. The sheets were so old they were rough and bobbly. 'A wonderfully historic house with an equally wonderful garden, location and views. So very peaceful. Only a quick drive to Launceston for provisions. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. Lots of games for the garden and indoor board games for family fun. It was hard to drag ourselves away to go enjoy all the fun things to do in the area. The owner provided a very comprehensive list.'

'We had a really rainy week in Cornwall, but our holiday was nevertheless wonderful, in large part due to this wonderful holiday cottage and the delightful hosts, John and Karen. The cottage is just a short walk from the idyllic harbour in Mousehole with a handful of great pubs and restaurants. 'Love the location … for the obvious and some personal reasons. The description of this property is spot on. You couldn’t wish for a more perfect location and the overall space is wonderful. Yes, the building is tired and the general standard of fixtures, fittings and furnishing isn’t what you would expect for the cost. But if, like us, it’s all about the view and the perfect location, it more than makes up for downsides. Thanks to Rupert for helping us have a truly memorable stay.'

"Nice and cosy hotel. Beautiful view from the restaurant and hotelroom if you have one with seaside view. We have had a great and good time in this hotel and will return certainly when we are coming back to Cornwall."

"Boeking was niet doorgekomen, dus konden de kamer niet op. Werdt een “alternatief “ aangeboden. Een vies aftans motel/hostel. Schimmel in de kamers, een sigarettenlucht (dus hoofdpijn in de ochtend) een deur die niet op slot kan een douche die slecht werkt en bedden zo hard als steen. Maargoed toch gebleven we waren al meer dan 18 uur onderweg met kind, die wou ook rusten. In de ochtend moesten we terug rijden naar chinafleet om te ontbijten en wachten totdat er een kamer vrij kwam. Uiteindelijk een kamer gekregen welke ontzettend naar de kerrie rook, volgende ochtend gemeld, weer een andere kamer gekregen. Deze was wel goed, personeel was uitermate vriendelijk daar valt niks op aan te merken. Alleen de manager moet wel een passend alternatief aanbieden en niet zoiets als dit."
