'Millendrath Beach, the bar and the cafe are a great combination and you don't feel the need to leave the bay. The room was neat, modern and tidy, but some finishing details are needed. Someone has used cling wrap to wrap the balcony fence for some reason. and I had to unclog the shower myself before my kids flooded the shower and the unit.'

'Mooi en schoon appartement met een geweldig uitzicht. De badkamer is schoon en heeft alles maar douchen is niet prettig omdat je dan op je knieën in bad moet zitten. Ook wil de kraan niet overschakelen van bad naar douche waardoor er echt maar een mager straaltje uitkomt. Dit gemeld maar werd helaas niet verholpen.'

'Het appartement is goed verzorgd en compleet. Prettig ingericht en schoon. Goede ligging tov het centrum. Het is goed te lopen; parkeren kan op eigen terrein. Gastheer en -vrouw zijn hartelijk en goed bereikbaar. Staan altijd voor je klaar. We hebben genoten!'

'Die Wohnung bot von der Ausstattung alles, was wir für eine entspannte Urlaubswoche brauchten. Die Lage war optimal zum Porthmeor Strand und dem Zentrum/ Hafen. Wir brauchten kein Auto in dieser Zeit und kamen überall zu Fuß hin. Der vorhandene Parkplatz war kostenfrei. Lebensmittel konnten wir mit Rucksack ohne Auto gut einkaufen. Zu berücksichtigen sind die Steigungen innerhalb St. Ives, denn der Rückweg geht immer bergauf. Belohnt wird man mit dem Ausblick auf das Meer von der sehr ruhig...

'What a great place to stay! Check in was easy, Nino popped in just after we arrived to give us the "low down" on the apartment and to also give us some really helpful information about Newquay. Super clean, had all the "mod cons" that we needed. Very much appreciate a king size bed that was so comfortable, which also goes for the twin beds. "Nice and cosy hotel. Beautiful view from the restaurant and hotelroom if you have one with seaside view. We have had a great and good time in this hotel and will return certainly when we are coming back to Cornwall."

"Boeking was niet doorgekomen, dus konden de kamer niet op. Werdt een “alternatief “ aangeboden. Een vies aftans motel/hostel. Schimmel in de kamers, een sigarettenlucht (dus hoofdpijn in de ochtend) een deur die niet op slot kan een douche die slecht werkt en bedden zo hard als steen. Maargoed toch gebleven we waren al meer dan 18 uur onderweg met kind, die wou ook rusten. In de ochtend moesten we terug rijden naar chinafleet om te ontbijten en wachten totdat er een kamer vrij kwam. Uiteindelijk een kamer gekregen welke ontzettend naar de kerrie rook, volgende ochtend gemeld, weer een andere kamer gekregen. Deze was wel goed, personeel was uitermate vriendelijk daar valt niks op aan te merken. Alleen de manager moet wel een passend alternatief aanbieden en niet zoiets als dit."
