'geweldige kamer met keukentje. locatie t.o.v. The Lincoln Memorial top. In de buurt is verder niet zoveel te beleven qua restaurants e.d. Metrostation Foggy Bottom is ongeveer 10 min lopen. Je kunt je bagage gratis achterlaten na uitchecken. Enige minpunt was 's nachts veel last van feestende jongeren op de gang. '

'This was absolutely amazing! I am a solo traveler and was in D.C for 7 days, 5 of which I had spent in a hostel nearby. I didn’t my best in that hostel, so I left and decided to book my last night in DC at the Generator in a shared dorm room (they have shared, and private rooms). Right from the moment I entered the lobby, it was great. The atmosphere was great, the personnel (and guests) were so nice, and I felt immediately at home. I solo travel a lot but did not have th experience I had hoped...

'Nice hotel right across Union Station. Staff was friendly and our family room was spacious and clean yet it could get quite noisy in the evening / night. If you are not a firm sleeper like we are that could be a problem maybe. Location was good for public transport. We prefer doing most by foot. Keep in mind that that is very doable yet restaurants and main attractions will take you some time (not around the corner). '

'Unfortunately there's an active train track constantly going by so that's extremely noisy. No breakfast. $50 security charge per room needed to be paid before you get your key to your room. Room smelled like cigarettes 🤒 which was horrible for NON smokers! Sign in the parking lot of property stating they are not responsible for an theft which occurs.'

'Was a challenge to get up and down the elevators in the mornings and evenings due to influxes of tour groups, mainly teenagers. They were polite but so many they overwhelmed the demand for the elevator! I realize this is good business for the hotel but maybe their express elevator or a few elevators could be specified for the groups use while others are for regular guests?'

'The hotel was not attractive. The room looks old and it is not updated with nice comforter. Some noise in the night was annoying ( maybe the air conditioner from next room) The Breakfast was good. It was a small buffet, no variations during the days but at least it had proteins like scrambled or hard boiled eggs, roasted potatoes, chesses, cereals, bread, donuts, pancakes, etc.'

"Net hotel met schone en ruime kamers. Goede locatie om met de auto te verblijven vanwege het gratis parkeren. En het makkelijk kunnen bereiken van een metro parking met de auto om zo het stadscentrum te bereiken. Twee minpunten: de oude tv's waarop een game basketbal of honkbal niet op te volgen zijn. En het erg summiere ontbijt. Het ontbijt werd ongeveer een uur voor het afliep al niet meer bijgevuld, waardoor de opties zeer beperkt waren. De tweede dag van ons verblijf hebben wij daarom ergens anders ontbeten."
