'we had a wonderful week at the lodge : everything you need to cook is there,the fridge is big there are 2 bathrooms which is easy one with shower one with bath there is a good Bose music installation with plenty of CD's the weather was outstanding so we could sit outside to enjoy our drinks you can easily visit most places in the Lake District from the lodge we truly recommend this lodge Ludo and Christine from Belgium'

'It was a good cabin and very clean. Everything was there that we needed. Pub on site was a little expensive not really ideal for a family budget but the pub up the road was a little better. Kids were disappointed that the pony trekking had closed and is still advertising on the website. Other than that we overall had a well earned brealk'

'Coffee,tea and sugar supplied but no milk so needed to head back out to have a cuppa. Other than that the accommodation was excellent and I'm sure we will be back.'

'Very good properly. Clean and tidy. Had everthing we needed. Hot tub was wonderful. Just could have done with a fan as very hot in cabin. Cabin were a little close to each other but overall was nice break. Good value for money. Letting company were good.'

'Well proportioned, clean property set within a beautiful location. Would happily stay again at this price point. Could be noted that the site Wi-Fi is essentially £30 a week which is mildly annoying, but hopefully you’ll be spending your days out and about enjoying the incredible scenery!'
