'What an amazing place to take some time out with the family. The cabin is beautiful, comfy and cozy. The farm fresh eggs and fruit on arrival was an unexpected bonus. But the highlight of our stay was helping to feed the animals each morning. Luke and Kes were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back again'

'Loved our stay at The Black Cockatoo. We felt quite secluded, despite being a 5 minute walk from the small town ( pub, cafe, shops) Our room was really spacious with a fully equipped kitchenette, very comfy bed and everything was lovely and clean. Our host Sue was really great giving us a lot of info about the local area. '

'The accommodation was very clean, but way overpriced for what it was. Very few lights worked, some rooms had no globe, some rooms had no light fittings. The outside light was on when we got there and took a lot to find how to turn it off, eventually turned it off at the meter box. Although the chalet slept 4 there were 3 wine goblets and 4 champagne flutes, no water glasses. Clean & lovely surroundings but way overpriced for very basic accommodation.'
