'Wonderful hotel, such a beautiful old building. Food was delicious, we ate in the brasserie and had breakfast each morning in the gallery restaurant. The staff were spot on, very helpful and attentive. Lavenham itself is a very picturesque village, you feel you have been transported back to another era. Would definitely stay again. '

'We spent a pleasant night here with a very spacious room and comfortable bed, although the bathroom felt a touch old-fashioned. Our evening meals, in the bar, were OK, nothing special, although service was quite slow, and for some reason we couldn’t use a Greene King drink voucher despite it being a Greene King pub !
