'The hotel was fine! Location was good, in the centre of the city and on walking distance of the trainstation. But compaired to other places we've stayed it seemed a little expensive for want you get. Still a fair price, but we've had a lot more luxery for the same price.'

Recently built modern brick and plaster cottages with a/c face a lagoon lake with a property adjacent to Yala National Park. Service is excellent.'

'Wow, what a place! Loved our room with patio and the views were just to die for. Great view of the Ella waterfall which you could hear from the property. The owners were lovely and very helpful. Lovely cup of tea on arrival and water whenever you need it. Breakfast was amazing and huge. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Ella as it was nice and peaceful and oh, did I mention those views!'

The room we stayed in felt very new and clean, the AC worked great and host helped you with any questions you might have. He got us a driver for a elephant safari and both the safari and the driver were excellent. The breakfast is delicious 😋'

'You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Galle than this. One of the best places I’ve stayed in for a long time. I loved all the thoughtful touches of a cold juice when you arrive, flowers on the best and them putting on the ac before we arrived so we could arrive to a cool room. Free tea and coffee all day and the use of a fridge and freezer was amazing. Staff were also wonderful and very helpful. Couldn’t ask for more. '
