B&B in Sorrento

'Onze geboekte kamer bleek zolderkamer te zijn met alleen dakraam, was benauwd en warm. Ook kon je niet naar buiten kijken. Hebben om een andere kamer gevraagd en gekregen. Echt heerlijk, mooi uitzicht, geweldig. Met de juiste kamer is dit hotel een echte aanrader!!!'

'We had a delightful stay in this charming b&b. A short walk from the train station and the center of town, it was very conveniently located. Our host Salvadore was warm and friendly. You could tell that a lot of love went into creating this comfortable retreat. '

'This is a good place to stay if you are travelling on a budget and are looking for quality service and convenience. The rooms are very clean and basic, with controllable A/C, a nice shower, in-room TV, hot water, and a mini fridge. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast is 5 euro, and includes a continental style spread and coffee options. It’s also very close to the train station, so convenient if you are arriving late and tired, as I was! The downsides: it is a little tricky to find...

'Sirocco suites is mooi gelegen en kleinschalig. De kamers en badkamers zijn ruim en schoon. Terras met zitje en eigen koelkast. Eenvoudig ontbijt. De eigenaar doet erg zijn best om het je naar je zin te maken. Bus- en treinstation op loopafstand. Veel leuke restaurantjes in de buurt. Prima locatie om Sorrento, Napels, Amalfikust, Vesuvius en Pompeii te verkennen! Wij hebben er een topvakantie gehad!'

'Great apartment in the busy heart of Sorrento. Plenty of attractions and activity near the apartment which was very clean and well presented. Only down side, is that it is not the quietest apartment with noise from the active streets below going late into the night.'

'Location, facilities, and customer service were excellent. Vera was such a welcoming host. When we told her we would like to spend a day in Amalfi, she suggested transportation options and even called to see if the ferry still had tickets. Her breakfast was delicious! Home made cake, brioche, 4 jams, fruit, coffee, etc. My daughter even had a special birthday surprise in her room. Balloons, a small gift, and a little loaf with candles. She went above and beyond, really. Grazie mille, Vera....

'Absolutely loved our stay at Marina Piccola 73!! To start they communicated with me as soon as I made a reservation, offering services and providing additional details. Our flight was delayed, we were able to have an email conversation regarding a possible late arrival which calmed our anxiety regarding travel mishaps. 'Our cottage was right above the theater and visitors thought the route to our cottage was the route to the theater. This was a bit annoying. The janitor tried to solve it for us by putting up a sign but that was not completely effective. At one point it rained with a thunder storm and at that point the power went out. It was not noticed and was fixed after we reported it (we waited til next morning due to the weather). The cottage itself is pretty small but has everything you need to get by....

'This was a great location; close to the main centre with restaurants, grocery store etc. The host was easy to reach and we were met at apt at check in time by Lucia who was very helpful. The only 2 comments is that if arriving early, make special arrangements as the property management co name is not on the directory of the building so we were not sure where to go. Luckily someone let us in and we stored our luggage in an open office ( the wrong office) until check in time but they didn't...
