'Beautiful 2-level space located within the bow of the family home (a small ship). One’s quarters are completely separate from the vessel’s full time occupants. The space is modern and clean, with wide open views over the river IJ. I biked there, multiple times back and forth to the city center. Pleasantly located away from the crowds, but an easy bike to the Central Station and main Canal Districts. Bike rack just onshore. Guest must be able to navigate spiral staircase connecting upper & lower...

'We had a great longer weekend near Amsterdam. The owner were very friendly and helpful for the start of our staying. The houseboat is perfectly equipped for a couple and very comfortable. With the two bicycles, part of the houseboat, it was very easy to reach city centre'

'Albert is the best host. He greeted us when we arrived with fresh tulips and showed us how everything worked. He helped us navigate the two biggest celebrations in Amsterdam. The houseboat is clean, very modern with all of the modern conveniences.... including heated bathroom floors. We will be back again.'

'The houseboat meets or exceeds expectations from photos and descriptions. It is very well appointed with great amenities and in a great location. Robertino, the host, is very communicative and welcoming, and also a great source for recommendations in the area. We have stayed in Amsterdam before but have never experienced it like this and would highly recommend. It is a destination in itself.'

'We really enjoyed our stay at the water villa. Aalsmeer is a lovely area and the villa was well appointed and very comfortable. 'Wir sind für ein Wochenende mal ohne Kinder verreist und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Von der Buchung bis zur Abreise hat alles problemlos funktioniert. Die Vermieterin (Anne) war für jede Frage offen und antwortete immer sehr schnell. Die Unterkunft war super, es war sauber und angenehm ruhig(obwohl der Flughafen sehr nah ist). Alles was man benötigte konnte man in dem Wasserloft vorfinden. Für ein verlängertes Wochenende oder eine kurze Auszeit genau das richtige. Wir werden auf jeden Fall...

'Such a great location. Close to everything and quiet which was exactly what we were looking for! Host was wonderfully accommodating which we really appreciated! Only very very minor complaints were the water didn’t get hot enough to utilize the bath, (I like scalding hot baths!) and the internet was in and out a bit. Everything else was amazing! Would absolutely stay again.'

'We had such a lovely and easy going stay on the Ms Luctor. We were conveniently located near Centraal Station and could get anywhere we wanted with the bikes available to us. Breakfast every morning was such a treat. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had just enough apartment-like space to be cozy while visiting Amsterdam.'

'Wir hatten zwei tolle Tage auf dem schönen Hausboot! Es ist wirklich der reine Luxus dort. Wenn man reinkommt, ist es zwar sehr heiß, aber da man alles aufmachen kann, kühlt es auch schnell ab. Der Preis ist allerdings trotzdem sehr hoch. Der Check in ist relativ spät, das Check in Fenster zwischen 16:00 Uhr und 18:00 Uhr. Eher kurz. Dafür muss man dann um 10:00 Uhr morgens schon wieder draußen sein, das finde ich etwas knapp. Man muss auch alles ordentlich und sauber hinterlassen, es wird...

'Ein schönes und gepflegtes Hausboot mit schöner Lage. Alles im allen war es ein schöne Erfahrung auf dem Hausboot, leider muss ich eine negative Sache anmerken. Leider hat bei uns der Mülleimer sehr starke nach Aschenbecher gestunken, dieser Geruch hat sich leider Tage gehalten. Zumindest immer dann wenn man die Schublade zur Mülltonne öffnete. Das war leider sehr unangenehm. Wenn es diese Sache nicht gegeben hätte, hätte ich auch für die Sauberkeit 5 Sterne gegeben. Ein zusätzlicher...

'We enjoyed the location tremendously; and, staying on the boat added a charming ambiance to our Amsterdam experience. On the other hand, it is very tattered, dated, rickety and an electrical nightmare. Extension cords and hidden switches everywhere and very dimly lit. Floors covered with throw rugs that all overlap; the walls and ceilings covered with fabric that has been stapled on. And, used toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet. So, if you don't mind dealing with all the oddities, go...
