B&B in Noord-Holland

'We werden allerhartelijkst ontvangen. De tassen werden voor ons naar boven gedragen. We verbleven in een heel gezellig Marker huisje, dat was bijzonder leuk. Het ontbijt de volgende ochtend was heel lekker en uitgebreid.. kortom: een fantastische B&B!'

'Canal view stay has to be one of the best BnB experiences that we have ever had. The comfort and home-feel of a BnB was combined with the attention to detail and service found within a design hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the space that was larger than expected from the photos. The apartment is in an excellent location walking distance from supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and of course - Vondelpark. We became regulars at the bar next door that serves great food and drinks....

'Host was wonderful and helpful with tip to get around. The little pub down the street was friendly and the food great at a very good price. It was easy to get into Central Amsterdam, however you probably only want to do it once a day. We found that after a day in the Central City we were too tired to return at dinner time. Dining choices near the flat are plentiful and very good. Pizza down at the corner, and a 10+ minute walk to Lowlander is well worth the effort. Flat was clean, neat,...

'Voor Amsterdam rustige buurt. Goed bereikbaar met de tram( 4 ). Men zegt bed en breakfast te zijn , maar ontbijt is niet inbegrepen. Beetje verwarrend , B&B suggereert iets anders. Overigens aardige mensen.'

'The property owner, Marion, was absolutely outstanding. She gave us tips on what to see, where to eat and how to get there. She checked daily to see if we needed anything and that the apartment was clean. The two bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable. The location is excellent for seeing the sights and it felt like home after a hard day of sightseeing. The apartment is on the 4th floor but we didn’t have a problem even though we are in our late 70s. A lovely stay and a lovely manager.'

'Very nice stay on the boat. Terrace is very convinient if you want to stay in the sun. Very calm even though there is a bridge but the noice is not very hard. Nice small room with everything you need. One inconvenient: the soap was not refilled there was no soap but we used the shower gel that was refilled.'

'We wilden altijd al een keer op een boot slapen en zo in het centrum van Amsterdam is wel een hele bijzondere ervaring. De B&B is van alle gemakken voorzien, modern ingericht en hygiënisch. De gastheer Maarten was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam.'

'We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Christy’s handsome B&B Bovien - she is the perfect host. All our requests were met with a prompt, helpful response. The stairs were a challenge for 4 seniors with some mobility issues but we took and time and Christy’s family helped with the luggage. Would stay here again - thanks Christy.'
