'We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful Easter weekend in the school house. The bed and linens were comfortable and the classic lounge chairs a treat. My hubby would have enjoyed a small electric frying pan to cook his bacon and eggs in but aside from that the kitchenette had everything we needed. We had booked dinner at Antica Australis in Carcoar in advance, that was wonderful and we stopped on the way home to the school house to admire the stars away from ambient light.'

'This place is a little gem, all of the staff are happy and helpful. They are great communicators. This is a very rustic place, very clean, warm rooms, comfy beds. They offer cooked dinners as they are out of town, I had the cooked dinner and it was awesome. They have a very nice selection of quality wines. They have areas on the property that you can bush walk, with a lot of birdlife and native plants. There is an unsealed dirt road of about 10km long to get to them, considering the length...

'I cannot gush about how beautiful our stay was. The hosts had the most impeccable communication. The house is so well appointed. There is everything you could think of that you need. I had the best nights sleeps! The beds are beyond comfortable in fact more comfy than my bed at home! Mind blown. The calves on the property as so sweet and it was lovely to being doing dishes seeing them graze peacefully out the window. The fire pit outside was perfect for stargazing and keeping cosy on chilly...

'The house is a simple cottage but offers the perfect escape from the city and reconnect with nature. Each morning we ate our breakfast and drank coffee out on the verandah listening to the birds and looking out at the beautiful views and it so tranquil. This is definitely the highlight of the house.'

We loved the bathtubs (indoor and outdoor), enjoyed the bush walk with our little one and spent lots of time relaxing aound the fire.
