There are fire pits behind each cabin so bring what you’ll need for s’mores with you including the roasting sticks. They sell firewood on site but you can also bring your own. The people that live there for extended periods of time are really nice, it's a miner's camp right up the road from Crater of Diamonds. It was a 20 minute drive to anything. Our only real complaint was the bedroom area was small. We were left to find for ourselves. I cleaned the ac filter it was yucky and it worked better. The mattress was awful. Beds need replaced. We did enjoy the stay. It was within yards of the crater. 'Myself and friends went for my birthday- bucket list to dig diamonds. I stayed in cabin #3 and they stayed in #2. I don't require the taj mahal and it worked just fine. It had cold air, a clean nice mini fridge and a microwave (I never used the microwave). 'Cute metal building conversion. There were plenty of places to sleep. Two twins, a double, and a queen. Queen was on wheels and we had adventures each time one of us would get on or off the bed. It ONLY moved 4-6 inches. LOL! Location was great. We appreciated the supply of tools to use at the Crater of Diamonds; just down the road a few minutes. When using the bathroom we’re made sure our waist and chests looked great! Haha. Overall, we’d stay again.'
