'This was an adorable little place to stay! The only bad things are 1) parking is extra if there are no open spots up front which isn’t disclosed 2) there is a $66 dollar charge they add that isn’t included on Expedia. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. They also sent a ton of texts with notifications and also the property manager texting for updates way too often it felt like they were overwhelming. '

'House was just what we needed and in a great location, just as advertised. Close to everything we wanted to do in San Diego. Owners were communicative and responsive. As at least one other reviewer mentioned, there was significant road noise, which was sometimes distracting. And although we adhered to quiet hours, the neighbor on one side seemed to be doing some work, so we heard music and power tools through the walls around 8 am several days. 'Our first room was not very clean. Garbage outside the door of our room. We asked for a different room and the staff was very nice and gave us another room a few hours later. We had paid a lot of money for an ocean view balcony room and the balcony area was not really worth the extra. Very limited view with thick high walled wood balcony. Fitness room was a very small box with limited equipment. '

"Over prized hotel. 800 dollars for two nights is not cheap. You expect the basics to be in order. Because there's nothing really special about this hotel that would justify a high price. My bathroom sink and bath drain were clothed. Showering means standing enkel deep in water. Going by the lines on the bath this is a long time problem. Also there was water on the floor near the toilet. On top of that they forgot to clean my room. And to top it of the wifi is terrible. What didn't make it better was the 180 dollor bill in the skybar where they only serve canned beer. Even though the beds were comfortable i would not recommend this hotel."
