'A lovely 3 day stay with my wife for my 60th birthday. Location excellent, Staff very friendly & cooperative, rooms clean ,tidy & modern. We didn't eat in the restaurant apart from breakfast which was good. The complimentary Bentley was a bonus getting into town. Will definitely go again... '

'Room was a good size, upgraded from what we booked which was a nice surprise, we arrived early and checked if the room was ready which it was so again this was a bonus! No staff on site that we saw but didn’t really need anyone, free to come and go as we pleased and the property felt secure and safe we even left the patio doors open to allow fresh air in, perfect location. Quiet spot in walking distance of Ambleside pubs would definitely return. '

'We had a very warm welcome on arrival. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly and it was great we could eat with our dog in the bar. The family room was very clean and good size. Not a great view of the fire escape but it didn’t matter for one night. In a great location in the seafront and easy to park outside on the road for free. '
