'The stay was lovely, create location from the train station and Kendal for the festival. Communication was great with the hosts who were helpful and accommodating when we cancelled one night. There was tea and milk on arrival which was lovely after a long train journey and the rain! The place was lovely and warm as well. Thanks!'

'The Old Chapel was a delightful apartment. For us, a couple, it was perfectly presented with all the facilities one needs. It might be a little cramped if there were four adults staying. The access driveway to the property was a little narrow in places. We have an estate car and we only just squeezed through the gaps between walls and other buildings but as had been said before larger vehicles could be left in Hutton Lane.'

'This is an ideal cottage if you want some peace and tranquility within a picturesque location. The living accommodation is on 3 levels so be aware there are 2 flights of stairs to get to all the amenities. The cottage kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, etc you need and the living room and beds make for a very comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Butterfly Cottage. It was very luxurious, the hot tub was amazing (and so easy to use!), the environment is great, and the hosts are very, very friendly. If I had to complain about something it should be the poor wifi connection, but while we were there a cabled connection was about to be established, so any future guests will have superb internet on top of all the other good things. 'Robert, and Lesley are friendly hosts, it is a quiet location, but only 2 miles from the main town facilities. Very clean, spacious, comfortable accommodation . It was nice to walk out in the fields with a river nearby, would recommend a stay here to anyone .'

'Great location and property. We have stayed here many times before as it's ideal for a quiet family break away. The cottage is always spotless and thanks again to the owners Tina & Keith who always make the place so welcoming.'

'House is clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything we need. Water pressure and temperature in all bathroom are perfect. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The heater in ground floor got very loud noise after few hours central heating been turn on. Need to turn up the heating,(e.g. from 0 to 2, from 2 to 3)to stop the noise. There were high pitch "beeps" from ground floor which woke everyone in house at 3am and 3:30am on the first night. Sounds like the smoke detector but we were not sure. However,...

'The cottage itself was a little dated but clean and tidy with everything you needed. The view was spectacular but the road leading to the property was not for the faint hearted and very challenging. The small cottage is one of several holiday let’s on the same property and as the larger property was fully occupied with several visitors during our stay and between 6-10 cars we had to park outside the front of our bungalow which meant we saw our car not the view. Not bad but good be better.'

'The chalets are located around a lake with ducks and swans. Nice house with 2 bedrooms, a good sofabed, two badrooms and a complete kitchen. Very helpful reception. Sorry that we only booked one night. We will return!'

'Nice one bedroom apartment in a resort that has a nice ambiance. We saw squirrels in the trees next to our building and there were a lot of ducks. Receptionists were kind and willing to help.'
