'Lovely accommodation right in the heart of Kendal. Everything well thought out, and clean and cosy. May not want to visit with young children as some of the pictures on the wall were more adult orientated with no option to remove them for duration of stay.'

'Great communication with Imaan throughout and if i had any questions pre trip, i had a quick response. Easy check in process, details sent the day before. Parking is behind on a public car park and was safe. The property is as expected. It's spacious with a lovely kitchen area, great if you're away with family or friends. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Although just off the high street and the lounge overlooks it, there is No noise at all! So it's just perfectly positioned. Tip: Check...

'A wonderful place to stay for a Lake District break. Hugely spacious, everything finished to a high standard and extremely comfortable. Our only problem was thinking the key for the door was at the front when it was round the back but once we were in we were all hugely impressed. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay. We would like to return for a longer break next year.'

'The apartment was just as advertised. Very clean and well equipped. In a great location and the cafe underneath was lovely. Our trip was cut short due to an emergency family issue but we will be rebooking soon and can’t wait to visit again.'

Foodies especailly will love it here, from the welcome hamper provided on arrival, to the local restaurants on offer. 'The Den van High Thorn Farm is prachtig gelegen met een eindeloos uitzicht, heerlijk rustig en met goede uitvalsmogelijkheden naar het Lake District en de Yorkshire Dales. Het vriendelijke nabijgelegen Kendal heeft alle voorzieningen. De cottage is netjes, goed uitgerust maar erg klein.'

'The chalets are located around a lake with ducks and swans. Nice house with 2 bedrooms, a good sofabed, two badrooms and a complete kitchen. Very helpful reception. Sorry that we only booked one night. We will return!'
