'I stayed for 1 night. The view is pretty unbeatable and worth any price. I understand that the area usually remains cool, however a fan would be appreciated on the rooms, as well as a mini fridge if possible. The pupusas and breakfast were ok for local standards, and would be certainly enjoyed by foreigners. If you are driving, you will have to pay a small entrance fee to Cerro Verde, and as this allows you to walk around the park, you will not regret it! Hotel and restaurant staff were great...

'The best hotel stay I have ever had! It's hard to know where to begin The drive up to the property is a bit sketchy due to the unpaved road with lots of potholes. I drove a sedan and just had to take my time driving slowly and made it safely. The views of the lake are breathtaking from sun up to sundown. The property is sleek, clean, modern and comfortable. My room was quaint and had everything I needed. They even had hot water which is apparently uncommon for the area. I only stayed 1 day...

It is quiet, clean, independent, safe with 24/7 armed security guards, controlled access. Easy access to roads was awesome. It has a park walking distance. 'During my stay, Ovidio and Carlos where super friendly and helpfull. They are good at english and always asked us if we needed anything. They also own the restaurant next to the place where you can have some nice asian food. Laundry service was nice too. If you need a place to stay which is very central, book this place. You are really close to everything you need.'

'Very unique property as you are literally staying in the clouds. Great cook and service. Very similar to BC Canada or the Swiss Alps. Star watching was amazing. ATV was fun. It is a must see as it is the TOP of El Salvador highest mountain.'
