We stayed for 9 nights and there was not a day without some kind of mistake or misunderstanding. The staff is very very polite and friendly, but they lack professionalism and training. Some servers in the restaurants don’t speak very good English, so that can be an area of improvement. The overall impression is that the whole operation is out of tune. Strong management and review of all aspects of operations is recommended. Alila is not on par with the rest of the Mayakoba hotels.

Across the entire property, the service was seamless, warm, and highly attentive. Standout Highlights: Playa Sands Beach Area: The beach team was amazing and kept us completely taken care of by the ocean. Best of all, the kids absolutely loved all the beach activities, which kept them happily entertained for hours. Property Transit: Golf cart drivers were always prompt, friendly, and made getting around the massive grounds a breeze. Onsite Dining: Restaurant service was consistently flawless, from fine dining to casual spots, including the wonderful staff at El Pueblito. Pro Tip: You absolutely must try the complimentary eco boat tour that goes across the entire Mayakoba area—it is a stunning experience and completely free! This level of hospitality made our family vacation entirely stress-free. We cannot recommend this resort enough!

Super hotel with all the luxury you need. The staff is very helpfull and always there for you. The food is very delicious although I prefer a buffet breakfast so you can have a little bit of everything. Also the beach and pool and super. The spa experience is also defenitly a must.
