« Very nice location in a quiet area. Restaurant choices were somewhat limited. This is a nice retreat from hectic life in the fast lane. In off season the island is very easy to get around, and the lifestyle is very laid back. A great vacation destination. »

This was a birthday visit and the staff went above and beyond, even the staff at 1509 as well with a 15% discount on dinner as guests of the kress, free Rock climbing as a guest right next door to the Kress, first Friday celebration, brunch at Reid's Apothecary down the street, the farmers market at Mary Ross Park, shopping on Newcastle, enjoying one of the park areas near the hotel...I felt so very special. « It almost seen like it was I first visited. The hostess greeted us on arrival. The room we choose was from the previous stay early this year. The breakfast was delicious and home made served with juice and coffee. The beach was breathtaking and beautiful. We visited some historic sites as well. »

« We requested a room with a view of the airport.. we enjoyed watching the jets and the people coming and leaving…very quite in the room..we got a studio and it was very comfortable and had everything we needed, fridge, microwave etc. the lady at the breakfast area was wonderful and so was the staff there. « Perfect for lots of reason, but for us the main thing is about the room. It is very clean, and finally someone understands that carpet in a hotel room is so disgusting, since it cannot be washed. So here, no carpet in this brand new hotel. The breakfast are very decent It’s close from the 95 Enough restaurants on each side of the 95, or “downtown” a pizzeria at about 12-15 minutes.
