'Uitstekend gelegen hotel. Direct aan het strand, dat is top. Het hotel zelf kan wel wat liefde gebruiken. Het is verouderd. Kamers zijn ruim, en hebben prima voorzieningen. Wel gehorig, we hadden last van luidruchtige buren. Handig dat het ontbijt is inbegrepen. Prima hotel als budgetvriendelijke optie. '

'This hotel was mediocre at best. The tv was facing the left side of the room and could not be turned toward the bed so you could actually see it. When watching from the bed you could not read subtitles because of the angle of the tv in relation to the bed. You could sit on the sofa and watch. The air conditioner was dreadful. It never got below 70 and the room was stuffy. I finally asked for a box fan and they gave it to me. We paid a lot for the room and would have expected more of a luxury...

'Excellent value. Old southern charm, but with emphasis on the old— our room was as clean as housekeeping could possibly make it, but the carpet had large stains, shower door can’t stay shut, paint on bathroom ceiling and parts of walls cracked and peeling. Tile missing on bathroom floor. Brilliant location right in historic district because hotel is pretty much the historic anchor (former exclusive millionaires club built at end of 19th century). Check in staff truly display Southern charm—...

'The Village Inn & Pub was perfect for our getaway. Located walking distance to great restaurants and the pier. But the best part was the hotel, our room was beautiful, pool area was a delight to sit out in the evenings and enjoy the beautiful plants. The icing on the cake was the pub, great staff and had karaoke the last night there. We will be back.'

'We had a beautiful space to relax and enjoy which had a kitchen, living room area, separate bedroom and bathroom. The decor was gorgeous and the rooms were spotless. Parking was easy right in front of the building. Staff was excellent; friendly, helpful and pleasant. Very comfortable, safe, and so relaxing. Highly recommend.'

'The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The day we checked in we got the best recommendations for local dining which all turned out to be great. The breakfast was hot and actually good for a free breakfast. The pool was clean and beautiful. This hotel is an easy walk to the beach and we even saw wild deer each day we were there which made it extra special for our family. We are already planning our next trip back.'

'Needs TLC. Front desk didn't give us the breakfast vouchers - we had to go back and ask for them. Breakfast buffet doesn't have the best choices. Roach on ceiling one morning. Rust on the bathtub. Need comfort height toilets in bathrooms. Ladies who cleaned the rooms were fantastic!!!! Only a few hangers in the closet. Beds are comfortable and pillow choices are great. Easy access to beach. Pool with hot tub is nice. Lots of easy walking paths. Rooms are large and very spacious.'

'The location was great, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. However, they were doing renovations and put us on that floor where men were working. It was messy, dusty, and noisy. It was uncomfortable walking through all of that to get to the room.'
