Musée de Fort Des Moines

Bon accueil. Très joli cadre (lac et golf). Petit déjeuner décevant par rapport à l'excellente qualité des autres prestations. Rapport qualité/prix excellent malgré petit déjeuner décevant.

This room was a last-minute booking. I got to the hotel and I’m not sure if they’re having staffing problems or what but as soon as I walked in at 10:15 PM, I was very surprised by the amount of people all standing around the front desk. There were two people working a younger woman and a man that I’m not sure what he was doing besides standing around a lot. I had to wait almost 30 minutes in line before I got to the front desk. I had a 3 Hour Dr. and I worked all day and I was exhausted by this point. Only for the girl to tell me that they had no reservation for me. I told her that it was a last-minute reservation that I just made 30 minutes ago and I showed her the email confirmation that I had. She told me that Hotels.com hadn’t sent it to them yet and that there was absolutely nothing she could do. I asked her if the hotel was sold out, and that was the problem. She said no they had empty room. She just couldn’t let me go sleep in one of them because she had no way to know if the hotel would actually get paid for the room or not. I tried to explain to her that there was already a hold on my credit card and there wasn’t enough room for me to go to a second hotel. I asked her what she thought I should do and she said I really don’t know but you chose to use the third-party app so there’s nothing I can do to help you.
