Escape to the Beech House: A Wooded Family- Friendly Retreat Close to the Beach!

Welcome to The Beech House, a spacious and family-friendly retreat tucked beside Sea Scape Golf Course and the beautiful Kitty Hawk Woods Coastal Reserve. This rare, heavily wooded area of Bodie Island offers a peaceful setting while keeping you close to the beach, shopping, biking trails, and walking paths.
Inside, the main living area is both comfortable and inviting, featuring a large-screen TV and surround sound. The well-equipped kitchen and spacious living and dining areas make it easy for everyone to gather, relax, and enjoy time together. The surround-sound system also extends to the screened porch, where you can conveniently adjust the volume.
The recreation room offers even more space for family fun with a large-screen TV, pool table, two queen bunk beds, and a futon for additional sleeping accommodations. Guests can also enjoy a collection of games, books, and toys for younger children, located in the china cupboard and inside the ottoman.
The primary bedroom includes a large TV, and HDMI attached device for viewing movies. It has an expansive private bathroom, and private back patio access to both the pool and the hot tub.
The guest primary bedroom is the only bedroom overlooking the pool, and has a rocking chair, and a large TV.
The two bunk rooms each feature a small DVD-ready TV and offer plenty of sleeping space with a full-size bottom bunk, twin-size top bunk, and twin-size trundle underneath. Please return items moved during your stay to original location before departure. DO NOT MOVE POOL TABLE
Outdoor Fun
The private pool area includes plenty of lounge chairs and several pool floats. A speaker connected to the home’s surround-sound system allows you to enjoy music outside, with the system and volume controlled from the screened porch.
The outdoor spaces also include a screened porch, hot tub, outdoor shower, and patio table. Beach supplies and yard games are stored in the garage for guests to enjoy. The porches and garage and the guests responsibility to maintain tidy, returning items to orderly location, and keep clear of debris, sand etc.
Umbrellas are also available poolside only — and may be used for short periods when ATTENDED with low wind and the weather conditions allow. A multi-color underwater pool light can be turned on from inside the home — for enhanced evening charm during the open-pool season.
