« This Biulding oozes history and charm. While it is clearly a little tired and basic on the accommodation, which is reflected in the price. The breakfast was exceptional and amazing value! (it was inclusive). All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. « The room was comfortable but functional in line with our expectations. We did find difficulty in sleeping because the pub is on a busy road but more bizarrely there are people chatting in the beer garden until the early hours of the morning. Hopefully that wouldn’t always be the case. Breakfast was lovely! »

« Great food and choice of drinks. Room was lovely, although it needed a thinner quilt, as it was far too hot. A bit disappointed that breakfast was not served until 9.00 am, although they did offer me a take away hamper. This was a business trip so I could not hang around for breakfast. I would definitely stay again though. »
