We had an incredible stay at Almare in Isla Mujeres, made truly special by both the setting and the team. The beach is beautiful, calm and peaceful – it feels private and far from the crowds, the perfect place to completely switch off.
A special thank you to Rodrigo, the manager, who made us feel like royalty from the moment we arrived. As a fellow Portuguese, his warmth and personal touch made a real difference.
Claudia and Karen were fantastic by the pool – always smiling, attentive without being intrusive, and somehow always appearing at the perfect moment with margaritas or ice cream.
Breakfast was a daily highlight thanks to Cristina, whose energy is contagious. We loved starting our mornings with her and even getting to practice some Spanish.
A very special mention to Braolio – spectacular from start to finish. The dinner at the pier was unforgettable, made even more special by the story of the pirate Fermín and La Trigueña, and the incredible local cocktail he prepared.
Diego also went above and beyond, organising two bespoke dinners and sharing thoughtful local recommendations throughout our stay.
To everyone else behind the scenes – thank you. Your care and attention made this one of the best stays we’ve ever had. We left feeling spoiled and already planning our return.
