'We were at the Posada for 2 weeks. All inclusive. The food for a buffet was the best I think in the 20 years that we have been at Ixtapa. We have stayed at several other hotels, but we prefer the Posada. It feels more family then the others. A lot of the staff have been there for years and remembered us. 'Nos cambiaron de habitación por reservar con expedía a uno con vista parcial al mar eso fue muy bueno y la verdad todo muy agradable con el hotel, es cierto que parece que le tienen cierta preferencia a los extranjeros incluso me tocó ver que los dejaban pasar en shorts a la restaurantes de especialidad y a un mexicano no lo dejaron por traer shorts, fuera de esa experiencia desagradable todo está increíble y la comida muy rica, la playa de lo mejor y si pueden tomar el paseo en bicicleta 100%...

'We stayed there for 2 weeks. The rooms are bacis, but they are very clean. The house keepers Bonfilia & Leidy did a great job keeping our room super clean. The views are fantastic. The area is nice and quiet. The grounds and pool areas are very well maintained by Jesus and Carlos. The front desk staff, Jose Ramón, Jose Sortero, Enefertiti and Edgar are super friendly and very helpful. The staff at this hotel is what made our stay special. They are all fantastic. I highly recommend staying here....

You will find the 'towel-people' here (claim a pool chair in the early morning) but there are still plenty available. The pool is not deeper than a yard and rather big.
