Same thing at breakfast. The pool service didn’t clear chairs when people left. The service got better towards the end but overall was disappointing for the price. One and only or las Ventanas are much better places to stay. '

'This was the best hotel we have stayed at in Cabo!! The grounds are incredible, the amenities are amazing, and the staff was attentive and friendly. We loved the food, we loved the pool and the lazy river, and the beach is gorgeous! (even with the no swimming warnings). I had a spa treatment (massage) on our last day and was blown away--incredible!! The location is only 20 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes to downtown, so it can't be beat either. 'The hotel had my reservation, so easy check in and check out. No billing issues. Multiple pools (the rooftop one is for adults only), hot tubs and beach is 10 steps outside the property. The gym was nice but gets crowded at peak times. Aleta restaurant has long wait times to receive food. The hotel issued new room keys without verifying IDs or any information (big safety concern), the balcony doors don’t lock, and the last night I could hear upstairs guests VERY loudly. '

'We paid $800 to upgrade our room when our daughter decided to come with us. The hotel insisted we pay more once we got there. It was another $200 to add her. They acted like we were inconveniencing them and trying to “pull a fast one.” Basically, no customer service and just wanted to make more money off us. Also, they were ridiculously inflexible.
