'After a wonderful one week stay at El Sol Hotel back in February 2025, we were very thankful to return to this lovely local hotel in Addis. Booking our trip to Madagascar meant we had to change flights in Addis and we figured: why not do a 2-day stopover in this Great city and visit some friends? 'We booked 2 rooms and requested connecting rooms with double beds..reply from hotel was that we had to pay 50 usd for extra beds. Once arrived none of the requests had been planned and we ended up with single beds. Immidiatly next to the room cargo was handled and the noise and vibrations made sleeping impossible. Beds were trembling... Staff was really not caring, manager ot available while the replies clearly indicated that staff is aware of the noise problems in several parts of the hotel,...

'This hotel was gorgeous and grand. We loved our huge room which had two bathrooms, a living room, several closets, and a huge king sized bed. It was very spacious and we had a very nice view of the courtyard and pool. The scenery was beautiful with lush plants and flowers. There was lots of variety for breakfast and the staff were quick to accommodate to whatever you needed. There were several ATM machines available and transportation was easily accessible. You never needed to leave the hotel....
