The service was horrible. Waited long for food waited long to be waited on. Dismissive attitudes when brought up. Everyone seemed annoyed to work. Went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and was excited about this resort. We left feeling very disappointed. We rarely got approached and waited on staff near the pool area however many other guest did. It was very noticeable to my group and myself. Outlets in the room didn’t work. My room was not prepared for my arrival as I didn’t receive the complimentary bag, nor the room amenities such as wash clothes, robes and slippers. The assistant manager over food and beverage Albeurto was the rudest person we met, after letting him know that we had waited for a 1h 30 for food to arrive. Very dismissive and poor attitude so bad that it had to be escalated to a higher hotel manager. We got to the restaurant at 6 when it opened we didn’t get food until 730. It arrived cold and we waited even longer for condiments. It was a disaster. Staff refused to get a manger or give corporate number. Became rude when it was requested. Even going as far as saying no manager was there.
The activity staff did great and kept guest entertained. Love the pool and the beach area. Luis one of the head managers was awesome and did his best to be accommodating once complaints were brought to him. Spa was amazing as well. Those are the only things to save this review. The margarita restaurant staff was so kind. Thank you to Nahdila and Cesar.
