'Public transport is very nearby, with a stunning view of the skyline of NYC. The bus will bring you downtown in about 20 min. We went to a Walmart by car, but just around the corner of the apartment there is a supermarket. The apartment itself is old. Doors do not close very well without making a lot of noise. The mattresses could be better. And the chairs could be better. Some of them are near breaking down. The airconditioning makes a lot of noise as well. You get what you pay for I guess. We...

'Beautiful property, clean, and plenty of room for the 8 of us. The washer and dryer was broken which made it difficult as we found out our cruise was being re-routed from Bermuda to Canada because of a hurricane & we needed to wash our warm clothes we had worn in NYC. Because of pre-planned activities we did not have time to go to the laundromat. The property owner did give us a small refund after I requested it. The neighborhood was a little rough, but these rental properties were beautiful. '

'Great place to stay with family! Wanted a place large enough for visiting relatives from Germany. The open kitchen/dining/living rooms were perfect for us. A short walk to the train/ferry terminal(10-15min.) always felt safe, even when returning very late at night. The neighborhood was full of families with young children, play park around the corner.
