'Our host was just wonderful! He was attentive to our needs and went above and beyond by even bringing my grandson an air mattress & showing us his horses. The cabin was beautiful and the outdoor fireplace and hammock was great. The only problem we had was the television service was spotty even after our host tried to fix it. All in all, a wonderful visit.'

'It was an amazing stay in the wilderness, so many little animals to watch, the river is surrounding the private property. Town is a short 5 min drive away. Bathroom has hot water, kitchen is functioning with a pretty large fridge. There is even a coffee machine. We went for a dip in the cold water of the creek. . Would love to stay again.'

'This place was delightful! Hot tub was great, the game room was super fun, and the kitchen was perfect for cooking up big meals! The beds were comfortable, and the sheets were super soft. The rain shower in the downstairs bathroom was a nice treat. The only question we had was about turning up the game room heat, and the owner came down himself, right away, and adjusted it himself. Can't wait to visit again. Maybe in the summer when all of the fun of the lake is bustling.'

'Beautiful cottage, but major safety and maintenance issuesWhile the interior of this cottage is lovely, our experience was unfortunately defined by significant safety concerns and poor maintenance.The primary issue is the driveway/hill. Despite driving a Toyota RAV4 Woodland Edition with trail tires, the hill was completely impassable due to ice. We slid down several times—even after a plow had passed—and nearly ended up in a ditch.
