« We stayed for a weekend. It was not perfect, but clean enough. Close to the boardwalk and right on the beach. Has a small older condo feel to it. We didn’t go into the new building that sits between the two older ones. I would return. I like having the kitchenette, separate bedroom, great view of the ocean and steps from the boardwalk. »

« Loved the house, loved the location and loved the stay. I especially liked the nod to the family’s heritage and history through the art work and photos. The property had character and everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the beach easy for our 4 & 5 year olds. There were fresh flowers on the table when we arrived that made for a very nice welcome. I would definitely book this property again. »

« My husband and I had our first trip to Folly Beach. We loved it! The cottage we rented was perfect. It was so clean and well stocked with lots of towels in the bathroom and kitchen. The outdoor shower was one of the best we’ve had. We were able to walk everywhere. The only time we got in our car was to drive to the lighthouse. We will definitely rent this cottage again! »

« We had the best weekend in IOP ! 8 of us came in from all over the east coast to celebrate our 60th birthdays . We have been friends since high school and we had a lot of catching up to do ! The house was perfect for our group ! The bedroom and bathroom set up was perfect , the outdoor spaces lush and private and very well lit at night . « The property was probably the cleanest of all the homes ive ever vacationed to. We were in myrtle beach for a dance competition for our daughter's school dance team....the attention to detail Simone (and Alistair) put into personalizing the home for us was amazing and made us feel special....cant say enough about our time there. »

« Cute, clean cottage. Perfect size getaway for a couple. The deep front porch with the beautiful furniture was the highlight of the house for us. We spent every morning and every evening out there, and we spent an entire rainy day on the porch. The golf cart is great. It makes getting to the beach quick and getting around Ocean Lakes easy. The owner responds immediately to even the most minor inquiries and is very easy to work with. »

« This beach front house was just what we needed. There were six of us and our pets. We were right on the beach with a fenced in yard that was great for the dogs. It had a nice kitchen, laundry, and the beds were very comfortable. The location was ideal, you could walk to the grocery store and several restaurants. « The house has a nice private and quiet feel and is great for family gatherings given the layout of the dwellings. The house itself is really neat and has been restored beautifully. It's about an hour drive to Charleston, so you can get away from the hustle and traffic of the city but also do the tourist thing pretty easily. »
