The hotel is modern, clean, and the food at the Asian specialty restaurants was genuinely excellent. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Service was consistently slow—poolside food often took up to two hours, and unless you tipped significantly, staff rarely checked in. Most pool seating (especially near the main pools) were reserved for timeshare guests, leaving first-time visitors like us stuck in quiet, less desirable areas. Daily breakfast waits were 20+ minutes for a family of five, and rooms were frequently not cleaned or restocked unless we followed up multiple times. Staff also seemed to prioritize guests based on wristband color, which made us feel overlooked. Activities were very limited, and the beach was rocky with murky water—not suitable for snorkeling or paddle boats as advertised.
We chose this resort expecting top-tier service and personalized attention but were very disappointed. Not recommended for families or groups—there are better hotels in the area at a lower price with much better value and service.
