Stay your Way, Hatteras Island family friendly relaxing beach retreat.

Turtle Pond is a Salvo Village oceanside family favorite with 3 bedrooms, a spacious yard, and an open floor plan. Four steps up and you are under a large covered porch at the front of the house. Behind the house is a 2 acre freshwater pond where plenty of birds and turtles can be seen, a favorite pastime of the family. We do not own the pond.
The home is less than 175 yards from the beach where you can see the remains of a civil war steam boat, and less than 2 miles to the Salvo Day Use Area and Off-Road Vehicle Ramps. The Salvo day Use Area is a favorite for beach activities. such as kayaking, fishing, kite surfing, paddle boarding and swimming.

The front covered porch includes a gas grill and seating for 6. A mini side porch offers a convenient outside shower with additional entry into the laundry room. A boardwalk connects the front and side porches. When you enter the home, you are greeted by the great room with coastal decor and beautiful vaulted ceilings. Relax on the cozy couches and watch your favorite show on the 48" Smart TV with a DVD player. Off the back of the Great Room is the Bonus sunroom with additional seating to enjoy the pond views and a Smart Tv. Head towards the kitchen to access the large dining table that seats 8. The sizeable Kitchen offers plenty of counter space, updated appliances, and extensive cookware.

Bedroom #1 is furnished with a Queen Bed, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with double sinks. Bedroom #2 is furnished with a Queen Bed and a flat screen TV. Bedroom #3 is furnished with 2 bunk beds, a full mattress is located on the bottom of one of the bunk beds. The hose sleeps 8 adults comfortably. A pack and play, high chair and children's toys are located in Bedroom #3's closet.
NO Linens or towels are provided.

Turtle pond is a Stay you Way rental. Stay a minimum of 3 nights or as long as you want.
