« TEN STARS!!! First of all, I rated them not very well BUT it was the wrong hotel! From the reception desk to the parking lot we couldn’t have been more delighted! Liza and the front desk manager were absolutely delightful. This hotel is nicer than many more expensive places we’ve stayed. The evening free happy hour will leave you feeling cared for. Breakfast? « Breakfast could be better. Never saw the manager. The soft boiled eggs only egg option were not soft boiled. Clear yokk still. Potatoes cold. No water dispenser. Called manager iI was told only eggs prepared on the weekend. Had to micrwave my eggs after figuring to where the toaster and microwave were behind the counter. I was handling things to the point another guest gave me their room because they thought I worked there. Helped others on what was going on. »

« Chambres bien équipées et propres. Restaurants et magasins a proximité. Parking petit et laverie pas assez équipee pour le nombre de chambres (1 lave linge et 1 seche linge). Nous avons du attendre assez longtemps que le lave linge et le seche linge se liberent. »

« I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville. »
