'Casita Gundry is the absolute best home away from home and one of my favorite staycation spots in Southern California. Lars offers so many thoughtful touches to enhance each stay, from local pastries, eggs, and homemade cookies awaiting me at check-in to a spacious bathtub caddy with room for a book and a (provided) scented candle to helpful recommendations of local restaurants and hangouts. 'It was a nice spacious house for the 5 of us, including our small dog. The parking is not great in Long Beach. However, there was plenty of parking space available on this property. Although, the house was on a busier street, the location was great. You should be aware that because it is on a busier street, there is more traffic noise. However, by no means was it a deal breaker. The weather was great. We would definitely stay here again. '

'This cottage was absolutely perfect for my bestie and I to enjoy some quality hangs together! Loved every detail, the house is well appointed. Lisa was such a gracious host and even accommodated me for an extra night when my flights were cancelled. Extremely grateful!!! Looking forward to our next trip to LBC. '

'Other than the stairs are narrow and a bit steep down to the basement which makes it a bit tough for older people to get luggage up and down we were very pleased with this property. We would definitely stay here again. Maybe a motive to pack a little lighter. :)'

'Family friendly & spacious '

'My girlfriend and I stayed at this property. We enjoyed the spa. The propety has a wonderful kitchen to prepare food. We have family in the area so it was very convenient for going back and forth to visit.We could not figure out the shower at first but Andrew was very helpful and we got it working. I would stay again.'

'We stayed overnight (group of 4 ppl), preparing to depart for a cruise. The neighborhood is quite peaceful. The house is cute and clean. The host is truly awesome and very responsive! Leroy went the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable! The house has all the dishes and necessary items. We'll be back! '

'Thanks to gracious the host Leroy, my stay was smooth and easy! Per Vrbo they were experiencing "technical difficulties" and almost lost my booking, Leroy helped out instantly and my booking was saved! I am so happy since my house had 2 weeks of construction noise and havoc. The neighborhood is close to CSULB great for visiting families and would also be a great location for a home base while visiting LA area. "Hotel is gelegen op een perfecte locatie. Kamers zijn redelijk schoon maar zijn wel enigzins verouderd, zou een upgrade kunnen gebruiken. Kamers zijn wel ruim en voorzien van een enorme tv, koelkast, koffie/thee fac. Ontbijt alleen in het weekend in restaurant geserveerd, door de weeks is het ontbijt te kopen aan de bar/market. Airco zou een graad of 2 hoger mogen, enorm koud in de lobby. Verder vriendelijk personeel en behulpzaam aan de receptie/concierge."
