'Our stay at the Ryokan Tsuchi to Ito was nothing short of a dream. The ryokan itself is beautiful with gorgeous details and comfort in every corner. The host, Kimi, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, and provided wonderful recommendations as we spent our days exploring Nagano. The food is absolutely exceptional, and you can tell they take great pride in the food they grow and Kimi’s mom is an incredible cook. We will never forget our stay, and enthusiastically recommend...

'The staff was really great and helped me deal with a situation created by both another hotel and hotels.com so I am really grateful for that. The free meal at night is really a great add on, and delicious. The room was clean, big, with everything you need and the window could open which was great considering the nights were cool enough to get some fresh air. Location is perfect as well, right next to the castle. They have pyjamas from S to XL. Didn't try the communal bath but I liked that...

'Prima hotel en prima locatie'

' Voor Japanse begrippen ruime kamer. Matras op grond in plaats van matjes. Dat was wel fijn. Heerlijk dekbed. Heet water op kamer en thee. Klein laag tafeltje. Echt Japans. Schoon sanitair. Heel aardige receptionist, sprak alleen nauwelijks Engels. Wist met gebaren alles goed uit te leggen.Onsen ook prettig. Als je een keer een Ryokan wilt proberen, dan is dit een goede. Goede prijskwaliteit verhouding. Auto gratis parkeren. Weinig ruimte im dingen op te leggen. Een paar plankjes en extra...
