'We had a lovely time in this characterful and homely house. The only thing to be prepared for is the noise from the road which is intrusive at night. Maybe better in the winter when windows are closed'

A very short walk into Lyme Regis with all its independent shops, cafes etc. The Town Mill and Lyme Regis Museum are well worth visiting. One thing to note, the parking at Homestead is tight as is mentioned in the description so take care.'

'Slightly disappointed that the television had very bad reception. The property was lovely and clean, small but space was adequate and had everything we needed for a quiet holiday. The stairs were very steep but manageable. The location close to shops and amenities was ideal.'

'As soon as we walked in we felt at home! Gorgeous place to stay and the pool is amazing! Everyone had the best time! So much fun! Lots of games to play both in pool and lounge! Fantastic!!!'

'The lodge was exactly as described. Surrounded by a large green garden and woodland and hedgerow. It is off the beaten track but this made it perfect for a quiet getaway. Waking in the morning to see a deer grazing was an absolute treat. Also got visited by a Pheasant as well as a very healthy looking fox!! A previous review mentioned some dodgy Wifi, but after bumping into the lovely owner of the property it got resolved, so absolutely no complaints at all. Did not go there for Wifi anyway!...

'The property is even more beautiful in real life than shown in the photographs. The rooms are all really sizeable. All bedrooms beautifully presented. The flat comprises two floors above a wonderful fossil shop and opposite the Lyme museum. There are sea views from the front windows. You really feel like you are experiencing a bit of history staying here. This is our 5th visit to Lyme and this was probably my favourite property which we'e stayed in. 'The cottage was lovely… all the necessary kitchen equipment and really good to have dishwasher tablets washing up liquid etc. Comfy beds The setting was beautiful, peaceful with lots of wild life to see and listen to the birds'

'We loved our stay at Dolphin Cottage, the location was perfect, right on the beach. We loved watching the world go by from the terrace. So much do do in Lyme. We’ll be back!'

'This property is in an excellent location, close to the beach and excellent fish and chip shop and the town's microbrewery. The house was well equipt and comfortable. It was surprisingly quite for being in the centre of town. My only quibble was that it was described as having parking, but the parking was extra and not on the property. We ended up parking about 10 minutes walk from the house.'

'A lovely spacious cottage in a quiet location but handy for Lyme Regis. About a mile’s walk on the coast path, less by road. An energetic climb back up! Well equipped kitchen with plenty of storage space, same in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Colin was very helpful and welcoming. We had a lovely relaxing stay.'
