'The place itself was fine, but... In the midds of the heatwave we arrived early evening in the hotel and needed a shower. It turned out we only had very hot water and couldn't use the shower. Of course we mentioned this but no proper action was taken. In the morning we asked to fix the problem and where met by a conceited boy who went in the defensieve mode beginning to bad mouth the women who where working the night before. "There were only women in the house: what do you expect" That ticked me...

'Goed bereikbaar vanaf de snelweg. Prima parkeergelegenheid. Zeer vriendelijke receptie/ontvangst. Personeel horeca waren overal en nergens, Tafels in lounge werden niet tijdig geruimd en schoongemaakt. Vraag aan personeel werd ontvangen zonder terugkoppeling. Zelf actie ondernomen om een antwoord te krijgen. Kamer en ontbijt prima!'

'The Chesterton is a classy looking hotel particularly the reception, bar and restaurant areas. The staff are very friendly & helpful and our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The bathroom however was a little tired, the toilet seat was loose and the shower door didn't open smoothly. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. The food (breakfast & dinner)in the restaurant is top notch. Would definitely recommend.'
