'Overall, Melia Serengeti was a delightful lodge and our stay was nearly perfect. Sadly they were doing controlled fires in the surrounding area meaning that there was heavy smell of smoke and burning which affected air quality significantly. If it weren’t for this the place would be perfect. '

'Remote glamping. Feels like a miracle that this camp in the middle of the Serengeti has hot water, electricity, Internet, and white tablecloth dining. Staff are friendly and helpful. 'The staff went over and above to make this a unique experience. Our butler Ali was superb, Gideon who cleaned our room is out of this world. Folds your shirts and makes the bed twice a day. 'The location and setting is magnificent, but what made Pioneer so special is the wonderful service by all the staff working under the perfect oversight of Manager Simon. Our tent butler, Juma, was a special delight. The nightly dining under the stars was so special and the meals were excellent. 'De Lobo Lodge is grootschalig. Ligt in een prachtige omgeving. De lodge zelf is wel wat gedateerd. Helaas was het zwembad tijdens ons verblijf in maintenance.
