'Great location - spacious room,good value for money'

'Joe the Manager provided great service to us. Rugs could have used a shampooing. Kitchen walls could have used repainting as there were splatter stains from prior use. Communal kitchen for free breakfast was on your own to cook or make. Bread for toast; butter; jam; milk; cereal; apple juice; orange juice; bacon and eggs. Kitchen dishes and cookware provided. Communal sitting area for eating or resting to watch TV; listen to music or read. Change of towels on request and no maid...

'Wij verbleven in een familiekamer na een transatlantische vlucht. Gekozen voor deze accomodatie omdat vroeg inchecken (11:00) mogelijk was. Prijs was verder ook ok. Afstand tot LGW ook. Hotel/guesthouse is gevestigd in een oud pand van voor 1900. Erg goed onderhouden allemaal. Ziet er netjes uit. Als je grotere hotels gewend bent, dan is het een (klein) nadeel dat je een dag van te voren het tijdstip van het ontbijt moet inplannen. Ontbijt was trouwens prima. Transfer van en naar de luchthaven...

'Excellent value for money , room was large, large comfy bed with TV and sofa. Mini kitchen with kettle,sink,hob,microwave and fridge. En suite bath with shower. Towels provided.I only booked for the one night but would have happily stayed a week. Yes there was the odd hair and a bit of dust in places but on the whole it was clean. Its a bit dated but wouldn't expect anything less being an old building. I'd definitely be booking again.'

'Nice hotel. We stayed in the spacious family room in the ‘souterrain’. Only the bed matrasses were a bit firm. And the room was right under the breakfast room. Somewhat noisy. Overall lovely stay only a couple of meters from the boulevard and 5min to the Pier'

'Limited distance to the beach and pier was the reason of selection. With this in mind it is great value for money. People were friendly, but reception is not always present as this is a B&B. Lack of breakfast room was compensated with roomservice for a small extra. Well worth the money. Room was very small but clean and toilet in the hall was in line with the price.'

'We had a blast to stay at Colson House. Great place to stay if you are visiting Brighton. Everything you want is by walk distance. Accommodation is clean and comfortable. We will definitely come back if we ever visit Brighton again. '

'Great service and pleasant staff, good food. Surrey Hills nice scenery, good if you need to stay over close to Guidlford. Good wifi, only drawback is the mobile network. had to go outside for telephone calls, fortunetaly the weather was supporting this with plus 25 degrees celsius'

'Klein hotel met eenvoudige kamers die wel weer wat onderhoud kunnen gebruiken. Maar alles functioneert en is schoon. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is OK.'

'Very good, the only thing was the size of my room. I had a single room and it was OK for one night, because I had only a small bag with me. But if you have a suitcase or a big bag, there is no space in the single room. But the rest was very good.'

'Zo gastvrij, zo vriendelijk, zo'n heerlijk ontbijt en vlakbij de pier. Het is een uitstekende keuze als je een paar dagen in Brighton wil verblijven. Onze kamer was klein maar het ontbrak ons aan niets!'

'Fantastic location & price, however no air con so studio was either very warm, or had to have the ceiling fan on with noise/pushing round warm air. Had an email from hotel to say they have discounted parking at nearby NCP, but was told no longer available '

'I think the lower than average price makes it value for money. Parking space not always available, council carpark across the road £5 a day. Kitchen worktops needed replacing as burn marks & laminate peels. Good large tv in lounge & bedroom. '
