« Great stay for one night during Xmas ‘22. V friendly staff nice decor and the room itself was very nice - looked recently decorated. Comfy bed, good shower. Had dinner there and food also very good. Compliments to Pete the Chef. Breakfast was also very good. »

« The outdoor bar Gin and Juice was a tropical paradise with fun cocktails and a lovely garden setting. The Japanese restaurant was also excellent. Staff were very friendly and our room was large and beautifully appointed. We'll plan a trip to Cheltenham just to stay in the hotel again! »

« Great England experience in a 1000 year old inn. Central and authentic. Loved the room over the entrance with views all around. Didn’t mind banging my head on the door frame too much, but I am 5’7”! Great pub downstairs. Not modern but that is what we were looking for. »

« Stayed for 1 night with my Mum as we were visiting the Cotswolds. Was advertised with parking; but no off street parking was available. When we arrived, were greeted by a friendly lady, shown up to the room. The room was unsatisfactory - thick layer of mould all over the windows, walls & shower, dirty kettle, dust (thick & black) all over the room, dirty floor & walls, bowel motions in the toilet brush. We spoke to the lady who greeted us to which she apologised as was not aware of the above...

« I had a nice bedroom but THE FIRE EXIT FOR THE BUILDING WAS THROUGH MY BEDROOM!!!!! and I found it very uncomfortable knowing that anyone COULD ENTER MY ROOM (while I was asleep!) BY BREAKING THE PLASTIC COVER ON THE DOOR HANDLE OUTSIDE IN THE CORRIDOR!! »

« If you want delicious food in the evening and a bed for the night in a pretty village, then you won’t be disappointed. Staff were friendly too. However the room was tiny and very dated and the en suite was not much more than a cupboard, soundproofing is very poor. Breakfast was a little bit Fawlty Towers, I was told a flat white wasn’t a problem but was given a cup of black coffee,Asking for hot milk seemed to be disconcerting. Toast was forgotten, there was no salt, pepper or jams and...

« A great place to stay. Went walking on the Cotswolds way and stayed overnight. Booked as random choice but was a great choice and great value for money, will go again »

« Accueil désastreux. Pas de bonjour, patronne aimable comme une porte de prison. Chambre 40 degrés ! Impossible de soulever la fenêtre plus de 10cm. Pas de poubelle, pas de miroir, des rideaux très peu occultants, des taches de saleté sur la moquette et un peu partout. Le pire : la cloison avec la chambre voisine. On attend absolument tous faits gestes et paroles des voisins (qui se sont levés à 6h du matin. Plus possible de dormir) ! Aucune intimité. Salle de bain spartiate, pas de tapis de...

« La chambre était assez petite. Le petit déjeuner relativement sommaire (en fait pas de service de petit-déjeuner mais des vivres prévues à cet effet). A 10:00, les clients se font "mettre dehors" par les nettoyeuses. Pas une minute supplémentaire, pas de possibilité de "négocier". »

« Property has been decorated to a very high standard. Car park easy to find and access. Very central location. Easy access despite no front desk, just a code emailed to access the car park and room. Higher numbered rooms are quite a walk up a lot of stairs though. Would pay a bit more for a lower floor next time. Called to ask if we could leave the car on the Carpark a little later than midday, and they were happy to help as the rooms weren’t at full occupancy the next night. »
