Hotel is alright and the room are reasonable for a mid-priced hotel. Although everything is worn and a bit outdated. Staff at breakfast is amazing. There is one huge con: the noise of the extras shafts from the kitchen is terrible. It is truly a shame that they dare to rent the rooms with such a agonizing noise. We paid around 100 pound per night for the room and it was absolutely terrible from 7.00 am till 21.00. When we talked to the lady at the reception about the problem she acted as this was the first time she heard about this problem. I can't truly not believe that because the sound drains all you live out of you and make it impossible to get a sleep.

Ontbijt was goed. Wellness goed. Parkeren goed. Wifi in de kamer werkt niet. Douchekop lekt. Douchekraan lekt en druppelt continu. Wc loopt continu door. Oud gedateerd gebouw. Trappen in 't gebouw zijn scheef, waardoor je bijna valt. Digitaal inchecken werkt niet. Heel veel half afgewerkt. Staat v h gebouw slecht. Moet reserveren voor 't zwembad, digitaal. Wat achteraf niet werkt, want iedereen kon gewoon naar 't zwembad zonder te reserveren. Dus te druk. Lunch en diner ook digitaal reserveren. Kleine badkamer.

Prima overnachtingshotel voor een rondreis.
Dit hotel ligt in een klein stadje in Schotland. Prima overnachtingshotel. Zeer vriendelijek en behulpzame staf, goede faciliteiten en brandschone kamers. In de buurt van het hotel verschillende restaurantjes. Het hotel zelf heeft ook een restaurant. Verder ligt het naast een grote supermarkt.

Gedateerd hotel, op een drukke plek in Blairgowrie
Het ie een gedateerd hotel op een drukke plek. Alles is oud, en loopt scheef. In onze kamer op de derde etage was amper waterdruk zodat er een klein straaltje water uit de douche komt. De bedden waren goed en in tegenstelling tot de rest van het hotel is het zwembad, bubbelbad en de sauna super!

Small room, not that clean. Coffee cup had a lipstick stain on it. Bathtub was in disrepair. Burnt out lightbulbs in the bathroom, right over the mirror where you need it most. Staff was not friendly but not rude. Maybe indifferent? They didn’t seem to have customer service as a priority. Not even a bottle of water to be found in the room or anywhere nearby.

We only stayed one night but was very clean, extremely comfortable beds, better than premier inn. Generally showing some signs of wear and needing a little updating but if this doesnt bother you its great. Very good value and will be going back.

Excellent hotel
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Angus Hotel and Spa, this is our 5th time staying there and it has always been perfect. We had a lovely big room with a very comfy bed and great shower. Our wee dog even had her own towel, and there was 2 bowls, treats and a few other dog items all sitting out for her in the room. Breakfast was lovely and excellent service especially from the man who checked us in and looked after us very well on the Monday and the Tuesday. We both also enjoyed the spa and pool, we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It is great for singles, couples and families, the staff are so welcoming to the guests and were great with our wee dog. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Izzy and Craig xx

Not a better location in Blairgowrie!
Excellent location for a stay in a lovely area. Staff were all good so no problems there - some nice meaty sausages at breakfast (locally produced) might be a selling point!

Ok for an overnight
We were in a dog friendly family room which desperately needed an update. Runner on the bed was stained and the fixtures and fittings were just tired. The 2 bunk beds were only suitable for very small children which meant we all ended up sharing the one bed. Although the hotel welcomes dogs, our room was up multiple flights of quite steep stairs so not really suitable for toileting. Breakfast was good, however muesli with cornflakes through it was definitely a first for us! Served it's purpose but dont think it would be our first choice when staying in the area.

Beautiful hotel which was so centrally located for us to visit family. The room was really clean and tidy and the bed really comfortable too. Lovely extras provided eg tea/coffee/hot chocolate/ biscuits provided for. Our room was overlooking the river and the view was just beautiful. The breakfast was so delicious the next morning and loads to choice from. Everything was fresh and replenished asap. Would highly recommend the hotel to stay in

The rooms are very comfortable. The toilet in our room was small but adequate. I couldn’t give service a good score as you’re doing your book in and out yourself. We didn’t go for breakfast as weren’t told it was included. Needs the personal touch back.

Absolutly love Blairgowrie , but I’m afraid the Angus has lost its place , the room was dirty and the bed was so uncomfortable it was a joke , overall the whole place was tired . Reception staff very unhelpful ( could have been due to yet another coachload turning up)

Nice hotel. Very enjoyable but some problems.
Mostly very good but special function caused poor service in restaurant. Room very good. Reception poorly staffed in afternoon and advice on bus service sadly lacking due to town centre works. Breakfast poor as erratic kitchen supply. Masses of Bacon and Sausages but no fried eggs. Overall a good hotel that I would stay again.

Poor service
After a day working in the area could not get a table in the restaurant on one of the evenings and the hotel does not do room service. I was told that the restaurant was booked up by 2pm. No availability for residents requesting a table when they arrive back at the hotel at 6pm. Informed the hotel reception that the shower was not draining as I left for work at 8am. Returned about 6pm room had not been serviced and the shower had still not drained. Maintenance had left for the day. Receptionist tried her best but no response from the general manager regarding this issue. I found the service poor compared with other hotels that I have stayed in.

Overnight stay for golf. Great spa facilities, pool, jacuzzi, sauna & steam room. Buffet breakfast was excellent good choice available.

Angus hotel is nice looks nice outside and inside but the service was not the best if am honest. Accommodation is not accessible at all I was put on the third floor with a baby and yes there was ONE lift when getting out of it you then had another 10 very steep steps to go down to get to our room and when I say steep I mean very steep. I witnessed an older chap get stuck and had to be helped with the ceiling been so low walking down the steps, so it was a struggle with a baby and push chair. Food wasn’t amazing but it was ok. Nice wee town but wouldn’t rush to go back and stay there.

Leider keinen Mini Kühlschrank ! Ist halt ein altes Schottland Hotel Boden Wände schief alles sehr verwinkelt . Zimmer richt etwas, weiß nicht was es ist man gewöhnt sich dran . Frühstück sehr schottisch ich würde sagen ganz gut aber für uns war es nicht so gut da wir die Dinge nicht kennen . Probiert hat uns aber trotzdem nicht geschmeckt das ist unsere persönliche Meinung. Alle Engländer haben aber voll reingehauen 😂. Das Restaurants was sich auch im Haus befindet ist zu empfehlen TOP. Die Betten waren gut keine Rücken schmerzen !

Stay at the Angus
Staff where very friendly and service was excellent, pool was top class. The only thing that let it down was the room. we where in room 204, there was no view and had a constant noise from the aircon fans outside our window also at 5am there was another sound that kicked in that woke us. the entrance to the room was via a slim corridor and through a very narrow door.
